Wise up for Worldwise quiz

Three of our Y11 students took part in the annual island geographical quiz competition known as Worldwise, a national competition organised by the Geographical Association.

The event was hosted this year at QEII in Peel, with teams from all of the island schools competing for the coveted shield and being announced the most Worldwise school. The students tackled a number of different team and individual questions, including map skills, fieldwork skills, and  general geographical knowledge questions. With good answers from all teams, the competition was tight, but QEII team successfully managed to get ahead and claim the prize. Well done to all the teams for their participation.
