Malham trip 2015 with the year 10’s

23 year 10 students who have just started the iGCSE course enjoyed a 3 day visit to Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. Activities included an upland farm visit and village study on the Thursday. The Friday students completed a walk looking at the tourist attractions of Janets Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove. After a quick visit to Malham Tarn the students then discovered Ingleton to compare the village with Malham. In the evening teams of six were given challenging tasks culminating in the now famous “Geog Factor” where teams showed off their imagination to present information on their findings from the trip. The final day was very varied from a trip into Inglebrough Cave, to studying Urban Zones in Liverpool.

A great trip was had by all and thanks to the four teachers who gave their time and energy to making such a successful trip including: Mr MacGregor, Mr Mason, Mr Watt and Miss Laporte.IMG_6189
